Marine Notice: Geotechnical Site Investigation for Oriel Wind Farm

The Department of Transport has been advised by Fugro GB Ltd (on behalf of Jera Nex BP) that they will undertake a geotechnical site investigation at the Oriel Wind Farm site in the Irish Sea from Friday 30 January to 15 May, subject to weather and operational constraints.

Operations will be carried out by the vessel Fugro Voyager (callsign C6HFS) which will display all appropriate lights and shapes.

Offshore geotechnical operations will be carried out in water depths of 17 to 32 metres utilising this vessel offshore of Dundalk.

Mariners are advised to keep continuous watch on VHF Channel 16 when navigating the site survey area.
