PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A woman was killed and a man was injured after they were struck by a vehicle in North Philadelphia early Wednesday morning.
It happened just before 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of North Broad and West Clearfield streets.
Police say the woman who was hit was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where she later died.
The second pedestrian, a man, was also transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Their identities have not been released.
The driver of the striking vehicle remained at the scene.
Police are still investigating what led to the crash.
