UK’s Covid vaccine rollout was ‘extraordinary feat’ finds inquiry

The chair of the Covid Inquiry has called for immediate reform to the payment scheme for those harmed by Covid vaccines.

But the fourth report to be published by the Inquiry found that, in the main, the UK’s rollout of vaccines was a bright spot in its handling of the pandemic.

Not only were vaccines developed and trialled in record time, but new ways to treat those who had Covid were also quickly identified in the UK and shared globally.
