Former foreign secretary David Miliband has told Sky News he believes the Golders Green stabbing attack is part of "an absolutely cancerous and dangerous trend in our society".
Speaking on The Cathy Newman Show, he said the double stabbing, which is one of a string of recent attacks on Britain's Jewish community, is "very, very disturbing" and part of a "long-term trend".
Mr Miliband, who is the son of Holocaust survivors, said the UK must take a "zero-tolerance" approach to antisemitism - but added that he is "not going to start pointing fingers" at the government over the issue.
