Of the apartments there will be three studios, 35 one-bed units, 41 two-bed units and seven three-bed units. A residents communal area will also be within the building and there will be provision for a creche and cafe units within the plans. A parking basement that includes 46 spaces for cars, two motorcycle spaces and 142 bicycles spaces.

The plan was initially intended to be submitted as a Large-Scale Residential Property application. But Dublin City Council said it would need "further consideration and amendment to constitute a reasonable basis" to make it one. Observations can be made on the application until May 19. A decision on the application will be made shortly after that date. Join our Dublin Live breaking news service on WhatsApp. Click this link to receive your daily dose of Dublin Live content.
