Donegal trio star as Ireland U16s demolish Greece

A trio of Donegal players starred as Ireland’s Under 16 footballers cruised to victory over Greece last night.

Derry City pair Jamie O’Donnell and Michael McColgan both got on the scoresheet as Ireland won 4-0 at the Carlisle Grounds in Bray.

Meanwhile young keeper Charlie McGarvey also featured in the Irish side during the two games Ireland played against their Greek opposition this week.

The Sligo Rovers shot stopper was a second-half substitute in the win, helping his side keep a clean sheet.
