Bundoran gets state-of-the-art fire appliance

The brave and hard-working volunteers of the Bundoran Fire & Rescue Service have just taken over a brand new fire brigade.

The new fire truck is a state of the art 251 Scania Fire Appliance DL18A1.

The new truck has replaced the town’s old Scania appliance.

The old appliance served the town and surrounds since 2001, is still as good as new and will be used for training through out the county

The new appliance is a state-of-the-art truck can hold eight firefighters like its predecessor.

If you fancy a look at the new appliance up close then you won’t have to wait long.

The Bundoran fire station will host an Open Day on Saturday 13th December so why not go along and have a look over the new machine.
