Donagh Kelly & Rory Kennedy win 2025 Killarney Historic Rally

Donegal duo Donagh Kelly and Rory Kennedy have won the 2025 Killarney Historic Rally in dramatic circumstances.

The pair, who also won last year’s event, had been running second in their BMW M3 E30 at the end of the penultimate stage, behind former WRC star Kris Meeke.

However Meeke hit mechanical trouble just before the end of the rally, leaving the crew of Kelly and co-driver Kennedy battling for the win with the pairing of John O’Donnell and Paddy Robinson, also in a BMW M3.

Kelly crossed the line of the ninth and final stage just 1.5 seconds ahead of O’Donnell to take a dramatic victory.
