Arctic blast forecast as expert pinpoints exact date freezing conditions returnA sudden weather shift is coming. Ireland is preparing for a dramatic drop in temperature following a period of unseasonably mild conditions.An "Arctic blast" is moving across Europe. Weather experts have identified a band of cold air that will sweep through central Europe starting this Monday.The freezing weather will arrive late next week. Forecasts suggest that the most severe cold will hit Ireland starting next Friday and continue through the weekend.Nighttime temperatures will drop below freezing. Met Éireann predicts that mercury levels will fall as low as -2°C, leading to frost and icy conditions.Dense fog and rain are expected this weekend. While Saturday and Sunday will see some sunshine, nighttime breezes may cause thick fog and rain will move in from the west.Early next week will remain unsettled.
