Netflix cancels 'too good to miss' comedy series with 94% Rotten Tomatoes score despite fans calling for more

Netflix have cancelled a 'too good to miss' comedy series with an impressive 94% rating on review site Rotten Tomatoes, despite fans calling for more.

The Vince Staples show, which tells a fictionalised version of the life of American rapper Vince Staples, ran for two series from 2024 to 2025.

Similar to Donald Glover's Atlanta, the series followed Vince, 32, as he played a version of himself navigating a series of surreal events in his hometown in California

The comedy used a mix of Vince's real-world life story and persona but exaggerated both him and the events of his life in a series of unexpected twists and turns.

Surrounded by old friends, and his newfound fans, the story followed how fame didn't free him from his upbringing, but brought in new problems.

The scenes followed Vince in everyday scenarios, like buying a house, going to a party and handling business deals, as they spiralled into chaos.
