Netflix fans are delighted after an 'underrated 00s gem' became available to stream - two decades after the show last aired.

UK viewers can now watch all four seasons of sitcom What I Like About You, which originally aired on The WB from 2002 to 2006.

Set in New York City, the show stars Amanda Bynes and Jennie Garth as the two lead characters.

The premise follows teenager Holly (Bynes) having to move in with uptight older sister Val (Garth) when their father takes a job in Japan.

While there's some initial friction, over time the pair gradually form a closer bond with one another.

The cast also included Wesley Jonathan, Leslie Grossman, Michael McMillan and Nick Zano.

All 86 episodes are now available on Netflix - with fans sharing their excitement about revisiting What I Like About You. 

Taking to IMDB, one viewer described the show as an 'underrated gem' while giving it a 10/10 score. 

They added: 'I have loved this show since I was a kid.

'Amanda Bynes shines as always, Jennie Garth proves her chops as a comedian after her 90210 days. 

'Wesley Jonathan, Leslie Grossman and Allison Munn never fail to make you laugh.

'And of course, there are romances with beautiful women and hunky men. Plus, if anyone is interested in indulging in 2000s nostalgia, this show is chock full of it and then some.'

It comes as the streaming platform's viewers were recently gripped by a new thriller with a 'diabolical twist' - and branded it as the 'ideal January binge'. 

His & Hers, starring Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal, dropped on Netflix on January 8.

A synopsis for the series reads: 'Two estranged spouses — one a detective, the other a news reporter — vie to solve a murder in which each believes the other is a prime suspect.'

Tessa portrays news reporter Anna who hopes for a comeback by covering the case.

While Jon plays Jack, a detective who is leading the investigation and is Anna's estranged husband.
