Netflix fans have been left gripped by a 'sensational' murder mystery series that 'exceeds all expectations' - and it's ripe for a weekend binge-watch.
Japanese drama Silent Truth, directed by Fukagawa Yoshihiro and Yamamoto Daisuke, is a Japanese drama that landed on the streaming service earlier this month.
The new drama follows the story of a detective called Tobina Junichi (Takeuchi Ryoma) who ends up investigating a murder in his hometown.
'When a detective returns to his hometown to investigate a murder case, he uncovers shocking connections to the primary suspect and the weapon,' Netflix's synopsis reads.
There are a total of 10 episodes that are being released every week, and so far there are only two available to watch.
The first episode aired on 13 January 2026, and will wrap up on 15 March 2026.

It stars Takeuchi Ryoma as Tobina Junichi and Inoue Mao as Iwamoto Makiko.
They are joined by Seto Koji as Kiyohara Keisuke, Watanabe Daichi as Sakuma Naoto, Kamikawa Shusaku as Nagai Michiya, Kita Kana as Imai Hiromi.
The likes of Danta Yasunori, Eguchi Noriko, Koyanagi Yu and Miura Kira also appear in the series.
The show is produced by Tago Ryota and Ogaki Kazuho, and excutively produced Uchiyama Satoko.

Netflix Philippines' X account shared a glimpse of what viewers can expect from the drama.
The clip shows a young girl and boy running away from a body on the ground in the woods.
A voice over says: 'That day, the four of us committed a crime.'
A helicopter then circles the body and the voice over continues: 'The crime we committed was sealed away in a time capsule that would never be opened in the future.'
A man then walks towards the camera with a gun and presses the trigger.
The voice over continues: 'It's been 23 years since then. I never saw them again.'
When they show shared the trailer on X, they couldn't hold back how excited they were.
