Toronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley has missed the last four games due to right foot plantar fasciitis and, although he traveled with the team to Detroit, he remains sidelined and is currently using a walking boot, according to Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca.

As Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports, wearing a boot is a common approach for treating plantar fasciitis, and Quickley has been using one intermittently for over two weeks.

While a full recovery before the postseason appears unlikely, both the player and the team are aiming to manage the condition and get him back on the court at some point in the near future.

Lewenberg notes that Quickley is expected to be less than fully healthy until next season.

Quickley has played 6 seasons for the Knicks and Raptors. He has averaged 14.5 points, 4.1 assists and 3.5 rebounds in 391 regular-season games.
