Israel has carried out a decapitation strike on Iran's nuclear facilities and military, crippling its main enrichment site at Natanz and killing or wounding at least 20 senior commanders. Netanyahu took advantage of a once in a generation opportunity to strike Israel while its proxy network, known as the Axis of Resistance, was weak and as talks between the US and Iran on ending its nuclear programme stalled. Despite being weakened, Iran is sure to respond - leading to fears the Middle East is heading for all-out war that could easily drag in America and its allies. Allow Geopolitics on Tape to explain.
