Labour could lose half its seats on Birmingham City Council, according to an exclusive ITV News Central poll that points to a dramatic shake-up in the city’s political landscape.
The latest survey by More in Common projects Labour falling from 65 seats in 2022 to just 32 – a loss that would end its overwhelming 14-year dominance of the council.
The findings suggest no party would be anywhere close to gaining overall control, raising the prospect of a fragmented council for the next four years.
