Late Late's stellar return includes Hollywood star and Mary Lou McDonald

The Late Late Show is back this week with a great line-up. The popular RTE show returns tomorrow as host Patrick Kielty is back from holiday. Sinn Fein's Mary Lou McDonald will join Patrick to discuss the disruptive beginning of this Dail term. She will share her thoughts on the party’s performance in recent elections and look ahead to Sinn Fein’s priorities in opposition including their ongoing campaign for a united Ireland. Film star Simon Pegg—known for hits like Shaun of the Dead and Run Fatboy Run, as well as standout roles in Star Trek and Star Wars—will drop in to chat about his return as Benji Dunn in Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning. He tells Patrick about stepping back into the action-packed role and shares stories from behind the scenes Additionally, singing sensation Paloma Faith will be in studio to discuss her pivot from pop to podcasting with her new show Mad, Sad and Bad. She’ll also be chatting about her Sunday Times bestselling book MILF, the myth of perfect motherhood and celebrating her birthday in Ireland. Comedian Chris Kent will sit down with Patrick ahead of his Irish tour Offline. Renowned for his storytelling and sharp wit, Chris discusses why unplugging from the digital world has become a central theme in his comedy. He also opens up about how fatherhood has shaped his material. And finally, KhakiKid will also be in studio to perform his track Date Nite.
