Vogue Williams admits TV producers were ‘straight on’ after Brian McFadden split
Vogue Williams revealed producers of a hit TV show were “straight on” after her marriage to Brian McFadden broke down. Television and radio personality Vogue, 39, reportedly met Westlife singer Brian in a nightclub in Dublin in 2011. They got married in Florence, Italy, a year later, but split in 2015, with their divorce finalised two years later. Vogue has previously said she feels “painfully embarrassed” by the relationship. She described the fall out afterwards as an “epic failure”. I thought, 'Oh god, this is painfully embarrassing' and now I look back and I'm like, do you know what, no it's not. “It was a learning curve, but again, no one died, who cares? It's nice to be able to look back and have that feeling about even that situation, and I just can't imagine anything would embarrass me so much now."

On her My Therapist Ghosted Me! podcast with sitcom queen Joanne McNally, Vogue said producers from Celebs Go Dating contacted her after the public split. Vogue made the revelation after suggesting Joanne should consider going on the show. “They offer a lot of money,” Vogue said. Before adding: “When my marriage broke up they were straight on.” Comedian Joanne added: “I’m pretty sure they have slipped into the mails at one point. I’m pretty sure they were sniffing around. “But no, that wouldn’t be for me now. It would have to be Married at First Sight or nothing.”

After her split from Brian, 45, Vogue began dating former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews. The pair met when they were due to compete on The Jump on Channel 4. Their relationship blossomed and Spencer popped the question in January 2018 when the pair went to watch the Lion King in London. They tied the knot in June 2018 at the 10,000-acre Glen Affric estate in Scotland, which is owned by Spencer’s family. The couple now share children Theodore, six, Gigi, four, and Otto, two, together. While Vogue has admitted she would have ‘swiped past’ Spencer on a dating app, she says the pair are “mad about each other”. She said: “And I always say this, Spencer is obviously gorgeous, but he wouldn't have been my type when we met. And I would have swiped past him on a dating app." She added: "And then we met, and we were mad about each other because we just loved each other's personalities. So, I think trying to meet somebody in real life, although it can be hard, can be a really amazing thing."
