Dublin hospital urges people to stay away from A&E due to overcrowding fears
A Dublin hospital is urging people to not attend the A&E due to overcrowding fears. Tallaght Hospital has asked people to stay away from their Emergency Department this afternoon unless they are experiencing a medical emergency. People have been advised to explore alternative options for faster care. The announcement was made due to a high number of patients being admitted to the A&E. The hospital issued a statement on Facebook. A spokesperson said: "Our Emergency Department is experiencing very high demand. If your condition is not a medical emergency, please explore alternative treatment options for quicker care. Thank you for your understanding."
