It’s fair to say that since last year, I have played a lot of Ball x Pit. It’s probably my favourite game of 2025. And while it is not going to knock Clair Obscure or Baldur’s Gate 3 off any Game of the Year lists, it is just an incredibly addictive game that, to me and many, many others, epitomises what gaming should be about.

Anyway, good news for mobile gaming fans everywhere, Ball x Pit has now launched on mobile platforms, with every single feature that made the game such a smash hit on PC and consoles intact. You’ll also get the recently released The Regal Update, as well as the upcoming The Shadow Update and The Naturalist Update, at the same time as the other platforms. This is the full-fat Ball x Pit experience on mobile.
The thing is, if I now start playing again on my iPhone, I am not going to do anything else, but the option to just pull my phone out and play is too tempting, and I can’t see my battery playing nicely and lasting the day like it usually does if I am hammering away at it playing this.
Ball x Pit on mobile is out now, free to try and £9.99 to own forever. I almost guarantee that once you have tried it, you will then buy the full thing, so be careful. It’s one of the most addictive games I have played in decades.
